Even though some teams weren’t able to send their top talents to the SEABA Stankovic Cup, we still got to see a fair amount of talent (both new and old) show what they had.

แต่จนกว่าจะได้มาดูชุดทีมชาติของเขามาถล่มทีมชาติอื่นๆ แล้ว ถึงจะค่อยรู้สึกถึงความเป็นราชาของกีฬานี้จริงๆ
It’s one thing to know that the Philippines are very good at basketball. Most people know about the country-wide craze over the sport. I know how good they are. I’ve watched the PBA game after game after game, enough to understand that the level of basketball played in the Philippines is in a whole different level.
But it isn’t until you really see the Nation’s Basketball Team in action while dominating another nation’s select group of players that you totally understand their dominance.
The Facebook notification sounded from my notebook while I was changing into my home clothes (basically just a pair of boxers) after getting back from work.
It was from Ariel Vanguardia, coach of the Westports KL Dragons of the ABL and current coaching staff of PBA’s Blackwater Elite.
