ถ้าจะเรียกว่า ตัวสำรอง เฉยๆ แล้ว ความสำคัญมันดูลดลงไป แต่ในแต่ละทีม มักจะมีผู้เล่นคนที่ หก ประจำทีมอยู่แล้ว ที่บทบาท และ ความสามารถไม่ได้แตกต่างจาก ห้า ตัวจริงมาก เพียงแต่ติดเงื่อนไขทางกฏของบาส ที่ไม่สามารถเป็นกำลังชุดแรกของทีมได้
ผู้เล่นคนที่หกนั้นมีความสำคัญถึงขนาดที่ว่า NBA มีการมอบรางวัลให้กับผู้เล่นในประเภทนี้เลย 1 รางวัลเต็มๆ คือ “ผู้เล่นสำรองยอดเยี่ยม” (Sixth Man of the Year)

หลังจากที่เพิ่งปล่อย บทความสนุกๆ ว่าด้วย การเปรียบเทียบนักบาสไทยกับเหล่ายอดมนุษย์ อเวนเจอร์ส ก็อยากจะพยายามรักษาธีมของยอดมนุษย์เอาไว้สำหรับ การนำเสนอบทต่อมาของ TBF Draft 2015 ว่าด้วย Draft รอบที่ 4 เป็น รอบ Fantastic 4!!!
เนื่องจากว่าช่วงนี้ ผมทำงานอยู่ที่ฟิลิปินส์ จึงได้มีโอกาสดู Avengers: Age of Ultron ก่อนที่มันเข้าฉายในไทย 1 สัปดาห์ (ขี้อวดสุดๆ)
ถ้าคุณคาดว่าดูหนังเรื่องนี้แล้วจะออกมาอึ้งทึ่งเสียวกับเนื้อเรื่องที่ลึกซึ้งชวนคิด…ก็ขอบอกเลย ว่าคุณน่าจะผิดหวัง
แต่ถ้าไม่ได้คาดหวังอะไรกับมัน นอกจาก ว่าจะเป็นหนังยอดมนุษย์แสดงอภิริหาริย์ บู๊กันล้างผลาญ อะดรีนาลีนสูบฉีด และแถมๆ มุกตลกคั่นกลาง คุณจะพบว่ามันเป็นหนังที่ยอดเยี่ยมมาก
หลังจากที่ผมดูหนังเรื่องนี้จบลงไป ผมก็ไปเริ่มต้นเขียนบทความสำหรับสรุปเกม แมดโกทส์-ไฮเทคเมื่อ 3 สัปดาห์ก่อน
แปลกแต่จริง ผมกลับพบว่าตัวเองอินกับหนังเรื่องนี้มากซะจนเริ่มจับยอดมนุษย์แต่ละคน มาเทียบกับนักบาสไทย และก็เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของบทความนี้
Because I’ve been working in the Philippines, I’ve had the chance to watch the Avengers: Age of Ultron one week before Thailand.
If you are going to watch this movie and expect a deep story that will leave you in awe when you leave the theater, you will be disappointed. But if you are just there for all of the superheroes showing off their powers, a whole lot of action, and a nice jolt of adrenaline rush then this is the movie for you.
After the movie, I went to start writing the Game Recap for the Madgoats-Hitech game three weeks ago. I was so into the action and the multiple heroes that I found myself starting to compare Thai basketball players with these Marvel Superheroes.
The english proverb says “Two is company, three is a crowd.”
Obviously, older english dudes would have never said that if they had played basketball.
