Movement in the Thailand Basketball Scene!
I know there’s the SEABA Stankovic Cup that will be hosted in Thailand soon and that’s pretty big but media has been quite limited for this event for now, so let’s turn our attention to the domestic league for a bit!
New expansion team, OSK Basketball Club, has signed ex-KL Dragons guard, Avery Scharer!
It’s not clear yet whether Scharer will be using the ASEAN Import quota or the World Import Quota, but which ever quota it is, Scharer will be wearing the Pink and Blue.
Last we heard about Scharer was that he was drafted in the PBA D-League draft but for some disclosed reason, he never joined the team.
Last time he played in this region was for the KL Dragons when he almost led them to a title. He averaged 15.3 points, 7.2 assists, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.7 steals in ASEAN Basketball League Season 5.
OSK is a very new team, led by Coach Prasert Siripojanakul, who was last seen coaching the Mono Vampires. With their final roster going through some finishing touches, it should be fun to see what he can come up with.

ทีมน้องใหม่ OSK Basketball Club มาเร็วและแรง เซ็นการ์ดจ่ายเก่าของ เคแอล ดรากอนส์ นาย เอเวอรี่ ชาเรอร์ มาเสริมทัพ เฉยๆเลย!
ยังไม่มีการประกาศว่า จะมาในโควต้า ASEAN Import หรือ World Import แต่ที่แน่ๆ คือ เขาจะใส่เสื้อชมพู-ฟ้า ในการแข่งขัน TBL!!
ล่าสุดที่เราได้ข่าวของ ชาเรอร์ คือ เขาได้ถูก draft เข้าไปเล่นใน PBA D-League หากแต่ว่า ท้ายสุดก็ไม่ได้ไปรายงานตัวกับทีม หรือ ทีมไม่เรียกตัวไป อย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง และก็หายไปในกลีบเมฆ
ล่าสุดที่เล่นบาสในแถบทวีปนี้ คือเล่นใน ABL ซีซั่น 5 กับทีมเคแอล ดรากอนส์ ซึ่งเกือบพาเข้าแชมป์ไปแล้ว แต่ได้แค่ถึงรอบชิง
ในปีนั้น ชาเรอร์ ทำเฉลี่ยไป 15.3 แต้ม 7.2 แอสิสต์ และ 6.5 รีบาวด์ แถมยัง สตีลได้อีก 2.7 ครั้งต่อเกม
OSK ยังถือว่าเป็นทีมน้องใหม่ นำทัพโดยโค้ชประเสริฐ ศิริพจนากุล ที่ล่าสุด เห็นคุมอยู่ โมโน แวมไพร์ ก่อนที่จะมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งใหญ่ ตอนนี้ทีมก็ยังมีการตบแต่งคัดเลือกตัวผู้เล่นอยู่
น่าสนุกและน่าติดตามจริงๆ ว่าท้ายสุดแล้วจะออกมารูปแบบไหน
ทีมใน TBL ต่างก็เริ่มเคลื่อนไหวแล้ว!!
